Installation Details:
All Waste Maid disposers require an under-the-sink power socket. The S-599 and S-699 models need a wall fuse spur above the countertop. In contrast, the S-799AS, S-899AS, S-999AS, and S-1099AS models come with an integrated countertop air switch, removing the need for a wall switch.
For batch feed models like the 1785BF and 1985BF, the sink stopper controls the unit. Push the stopper in to start, and pull it out to stop. No air switch or wall switch is necessary for these models.
